Today is Friday the 13th. With that comes the fact that it is one of the most superstitious days that occurs a few times a year. Most relate the day to the famous horror character, Jason Voorhees and his deadly revenge on Camp Crystal Lake. However, this weekend in Dallas, I attribute the day to the return of one of the hottest guys in the gay adult entertainment industry. I’m talking about Jake MOTHERF***ING Austin!!
I had the chance of meeting this talented young man when he was last here in Dallas back in May. I must say, he is DEFINITELY worth laying your eyes on!! Although when I saw him he was covered in body paint after having done a performance, the guy was kind, sweet and someone that was down to Earth. Most people attribute porn stars to being uptight and unapproachable but this guy breaks all the rules and addresses his fans. That’s what I appreciate. I’ve followed Jake’s work for a while (get your mind out the gutter!!) so I was no stranger to who he was then. Eager to see him again, I’ve been waiting for him to come back to The Big D and now, that wait is over.
Going along with the wicked theme for the weekend, The Tin Room (located at 2514 Hudnall Street Dallas, TX 75235, so plug it into Google Maps or get our your GPS doll) is hosting this hot commodity again tonight and tomorrow. The theme for tonight is The Freak Show, with the bar offering $3 U-Call-Its from 12-1am. Judging by the picture to the left, it’s gonna be hot and wild!! If you are in town or live in Dallas, get your butt up, put some fierce attire on and get out to see this gem. He is only here for two days and trust me, I certainly don’t intend on missing out on him at all!! Hopefully this time around, I will get a picture with him. I would DIE for one.

However, first thing is first!! Today and every other Friday the 13th in Dallas, local tattoo shop Elm Street Tattoo located in Deep Ellum is doing their “13 Tattoo for $13″ marathon today until midnight. This benefits the shop itself as it tries to break its record every time of tattoos done on the day. The idea is that you can get a small tattoo with the number thirteen in it for $13 plus a $7 tip for the artist. Back in January this year, I went and waited in line until the last minute and was turned away. However, they took me, my friend and a few others as their last clients of the night. Lucky that we waited after one of the managers said they weren’t taking anyone else. Since I am a person of “evens”, I plan on going to wait in the line in a little while once the sun goes down and try to get another one. No idea on which design I will get BUT I know it’s going to be fierce. If you are a fan of ink and want to join in on the local fad, I encourage you to visit tonight and try to get in.
