Oral Sex Guide

Sucking dick or getting head sounds easy enough, but we thought it might be helpful to list some common stuff everyone should know.

  • Make sure not to eat spicy or rough foods before you go down. Foods like chips and salsa can cause irritation in your mouth making it easier for you to get a STD or HIV.
  • Never brush your teeth or floss before oral sex! Brushing your teeth may leave microscopic tears in the gum tissue of your mouth which may increase your risk for STDs and HIV. It’s recommended that you wait at least two hours after brushing your teeth or flossing before giving head.
  • Using a dry flavored latex condom can give added protection against STDs and HIV.
  • Just because you are using your mouth doesn’t mean you can’t use anything else. Stroking the penis shaft with your hand while your mouth is stimulating the head could add extra sensation.
  • If you’re getting your soldier sucked without a condom, let your partner know when you’re about to cum. Many guys don’t like getting cum in their mouth due to the taste or the increased risk of STD or HIV infection.
  • Keep a towel close by so you can clean your orgasm off of you and/or your partner.
